Write to the editors
The editors read every message. Use the form on this page or email info@laichautourism.com for corrections, questions about a page, or advertising enquiries. Replies come by email when a reply is needed.
How to reach us
The form below goes straight to the editors. If you prefer email, write to info@laichautourism.com. We do not publish a phone number, and we do not take enquiries through social media.
Please write in English if you can. Short messages are fine; a link or a date is often more useful than a long explanation.
Corrections
Corrections are the messages we value most. Roads, prices and rules in Lai Chau change faster than any guide can track, and travellers who have just crossed the pass or come down a mountain are often the first to know. A useful report answers four questions:
- Which page, and which sentence or table row?
- What did you find instead?
- When did you find it? The date matters, because conditions change.
- How do you know? A link to an official page, or what you saw on the road or trail.
Confirmed corrections are made on the page and recorded in the corrections log on the about page.
Questions about a page
If something on a page is unclear, ask. If several readers ask the same thing, the page needs rewriting, and we will do that. We can explain what a page says and where it comes from. We cannot plan an individual itinerary, check a booking, or tell you whether a road is open today.
Advertising enquiries
The site has labelled advertising spaces, kept apart from editorial text. If you would like to advertise, choose “Advertising enquiry” in the form and tell us what you have in mind. Advertising does not buy a mention, a description or a link inside the guide's pages.
What we cannot help with
- Booking treks, transport, hotels or homestays. The guide does not sell or arrange travel.
- Permits or registration on your behalf. Ask the commune office, border guard or your host.
- Emergencies. In Vietnam, call 115 for an ambulance and contact your embassy or consulate.
- Live road conditions. Ask your accommodation or driver on the day.
If you are unsure whether a question fits, send it anyway. A question the guide cannot yet answer is how new sections get started.
Before you write
Check the “last checked” date under the section you want to write about. If the date is recent and your information is older, the page may already reflect the change. If the official source linked there says something different from the page, that is exactly the kind of report we want.
For questions about entry to Vietnam, visas or your own travel insurance, official sources answer faster than we can: the government e-visa portal, your embassy and your insurer. For permits inside Lai Chau, the commune office, the provincial police and the border guard are the authorities; our permits page explains which one handles what, as far as published rules make clear.
What happens to your message
Messages go to the editors only. We do not publish your name or your message. If a correction you send is used, the page credits “a reader” unless you ask to be named. The privacy page lists exactly which fields the form collects and what happens to them.
We reply by email to the address you give when a message needs an answer. Corrections are checked against a source before a page changes, which can take longer than a reply.
Common questions
Questions readers ask
How do I contact Lai Chau Tourism?
Use the form on the contact page, or email info@laichautourism.com.

No phone number is published. The guide works by form and email.
